Stole a piece of sean's car.
well I bought it anyway since he couldn't use it.
Mcdonalds special baby! Now here's the Q...
Should I just strip the mustard yellow paint off and leave it the black powdercoat finish it is originally, or strip it all off and polish it?
engine bay looks like this right now.

Actually, white could look good with the rest of your car.. IDK, may be too bright for all of the plastic. On the other hand, the yellow would match your dura-crap battery quite nicely!

What dumbass painted that **** yellow . Although yellow matches the Pee-Cola theme rahter nicely....
White would look really cool actually, but wouldn't wear too well because the hood-liner rubs it slightly. You can see the wear spots on the top corner. Black always looks good, but if you plan on a polished manifold like you were talking about before the stb would look great polished. So what I'm basically saying is if you decide to go with the polished manifold polish the stb too, if not black. Lol.

if you still have the hood liner on your hood, take it off, you dont need it. i have had mine off for two and a half years and my hood is fine. that will solve the rubbing problem that sean was talking about

You can right click them and copy the links... But hot linking isn't working.

Both will look good but if you already have a little experience with polishing just go for it since most of the prep work is spraying on aircraft remover it should be easy. You shouldnt have to sand anything. Then go ahead and polish a few more things under the hood to make it look more showy.

Finally got the primer on, color tomorrow.
And did this
After I'm done with this I'm going to repaint the CAI, so it will be glossy to match.

Haha..thanks. I wish I could say that about the vinyl blackout though..that was the hardest mod I've ever done, doesn't look so great upclose. Going to get some quotes to have it painted gloss black and get all of the spoiler holes filled this summer...I'm not selling this car with a wing on it.
