Just a quick idea I had...
^^^
I took a Cobra and did a quick PS on it. It's something I've had in mind for a while, and suddenly I REALLY WANT TO DO IT. I think the finished product would look pretty sick, personally. Get a shaved bumper and paint the MACH1 on....opinions?
I've own a lot of things that I'm sure I could sell for decent money, especially a few Dale Earnhardt Sr., Richard Petty and Rick Carelli autographs...but I really want to think on it a bit more before I decide to actually sell any of those. I've also got a lot of other junk I don't use that I could sell to get the money to do this, but again I want to think on it a bit more.
Oh! and for reference, here is my bumper as it looks like now...

I'd preferably want to carve the letters in like our bumpers now, but if that's too much work I could just either paint it on, or get some decals from a buddy of mine.

Sorry, Nick, but I'm not a fan. It looks like it says 'MACHI'. However, it is something different, but that's the only reason why I like it. Maybe if you actually painted the 'l' to look line a '1', it would be a little better to me.

IMHO i think it would look badass if the letters were carved in or whatever like stock, but would look ghey without the indents and just stickers or vinyl. maybe painted on would look cool but idk. all three options would look good from far away, but the actual letters in the bumper and some letters set in would look better up close

Just not sure how I feel about that. I think whats throwing me off is the fact that it's not just on word really. COBRA and MUSTANG fit cause there is no separation, but with MACH 1 you got the space between Mach and 1. See what it looks like with just MACH. Not sure how it would look those just being painted on. Might look kinda cheesy.
My ideal rear bumper would be the 03 cobra bumper, shaved letters and no cutouts for the exhaust. Just have that plastic piece on the bottom of the bumper go all the way across.

When it get's warm enough, I'll do it. I've got the touch-up paint, I'm just waiting for a good day to do it. Today it's like 54 degrees, and windy....Mondays forecast here is in the 60s, so maybe then. The dealership plate it coming off, too...I just want to do it all at once.

Yeah true. But I say definitely go for the Mach 1 idea. Its a pretty simple idea, yet pretty unique. If youre not the only one with "Mach 1" on the bumper then youll definitely be one in a few.

I think I puked a little in my mouth when I saw that bumper. Why would you take a picture of such wrong-ness (other than the "MACH 1" on the back)? But yeah...I think it'd look sick as hell on a shaved Cobra bumper.
