stock/special edition style?

Hey, Well guys I've been doing a lot of thinking about upgrades and what not for my car for the last 4 days or so more than I have in the last few months. It's that time of year that I put my car up for winter and I get to just mess with it before spring comes. Though I've done a lot of my thinking on looks and making it unique and one of a kind. I love the stock look. I think that when somebody can fix their stang up and make it soo much better and different than stock but can still get people to think that it might have been stock and just a special edition, then I think that person successfully pulled it off. Ofcoarse everyone has different opinons and thats mine. For my car, we all can tell mine is'nt stock, but there are things that I can do to make somebody that loves mustangs but isnt completely knowledged on their history think that my car may have been a special edition of that year. First off I think that my pony with the red white and blue stripes converted to pony with black and silver stripes behind it will give a special edition look to it( if you guys saw that thread) However I plan to do that to the one on my dashboard rather than on my fenders. I've really contimplated what to put on the fenders because I want something there. And yesterday it hit me. On all Salleen mustangs they are numbered by decals on the bumper. In the 5.0 resto parts mag, you can order the saleen bumper numbers and can pick whatever numbers you want, and what color (for me silver). However, I think that instead of on my bumper I could put them on my fenders, and the number that I could put is 90 stating its a 1990. Also I'm going to be putting the Black leather/micro suede silver insert seats from Corbeau in my car and upholsetering the backseat to match, Im getting new black carpet, and I thauhgt that I could dye parts of the Dashboard silver along with the console area. New Black Door panels. I want to find Mclaren mustang door pillars to put on them that I can dye silver. Get a leather E-brake with leather boot and change the gauges to silver faced that read 170mph and add a black and silver 5.0 high performance emblem on the trunk lid and It would look special edition like. What do you guys think. I know this is super long. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank You.

Make it your own. Just don't go overboard, sometimes less is more lol. Keep it clean and flowing.

Alright, yea I agree with keeping it alll clean and flowing well, I wont over do it. Thanks
I'll keep you guys posted on how it looks. The good thing about all the stuff I'm talking about is that I can fix all of it if it doesnt end up looking right. It all can be taken off .
