Modifications
I have a metallic black v6 mustang with a bunch of mods that have been done already to it...can anyone give me some cool ideas to do next to it that would cost under $1000? mods ranging from performance to looks
Mods: K&N air intake True dual magna flow exhaust Short throw shifter Interior dash painted red Black powder coated saleen rims Saleen spoiler Saleen front bumper gt rear bumper shorty antenna chrome grill Pioneer stereo w/ Polk audio speakers, 2 10" alpine type r subs and a sony 760watt amp Painted red brake calipers Last edited by alecboughner : 05-10-2008 at 09:01 PM. |

Ok, im gonna give you an honest reply before the wolves come in and rip you to shreds for putting gay ass neons on yer car, not a lot of Fast & Furious fans on here.
So, short throw shifter, exhaust, and CAI is pretty much all you got performancewise, and the rest is show, i would highly reccommend doing more performance mods. Look into getting 4:10 gears and a t-lock and a tuner, you will have better traction, you will launch faster, and you will gain a few hp as well and be able to correct the speedo after the gears are installed. expect about $300 for gear installation. That would be the best way to go in my view unless you feel like getting into nitrous, but if it is a daily driver i wouldnt reccommend nitrous.

sounds like a nice car overall. I would say suspension. Get some springs, shocks, struts, and possibly cc plates that should all come out near 1000 depending on if you need the cc plates

I agree with the two above, gears and springs were the two most rewarding mods I've done.
