Water on the inside!

I have a 94 GT Vert with a unique problem. I keep getting a puddle in the back driver's side pan every time it rains. I cannot find any dribble trails, or obvious ways of water intrusion (no tears in roof, can't find an obvious hole in the weatherstripping, etc...). I just replaced the weatherstripping piece on top of the post (which had a hole in it - and I thought was the problem). Next rainshower - problem not solved! It only goes into the floor pan behind the driver's seat, nowhere else. Any ideas?

Around the windows would be a safe bet.. as exciting as it is.. you might have to wait for the rain and then look around the car inside as it is raining.

Like watchin' grass grow? LOL Thanks. Fortunately, I may have to wait a while. It looks like a rain free Christmas.

By the way - Hokies (VT right?): Michigan??

Okay, now I'm completely baffled!! It rained last night and today. New puddle. Sat in the car and looked for a drip. Couldn't find one at all. No wet "trails" down the interior or anything! And it's only the driver's side rear pan. I'm stumped.

Get in the car.
Have someone spray water from a garden hose on the roof area above the rear pan to pinpoint the area of the leak.

Gonz - Well I sort of did just that. I washed it last weekend (after sucking all the water out with shopvac). Lots more water came in. No water trails anywhere!! I started taking trim pieces off, seats out, etc... BINGO!! Under the outside trim on the driver side, where the vert top forms a "channel," there was a 3" tear. The water was coming in through there, running down the inside into the tray under the left rear seat, and then seeping into the floor pan. Got a vinyl repair kit and did what I could. Right now waiting on more precip to see. (At 20 degrees outside, I ain't running water on it on purpose right now - lol!)

CoDiddy - Nope, not on autopia.
