Hey guys, first post here. My girlfriend has an 04 GT, and her headlights absolutely SUCK. I was driving it saturday night, and I couldnt see a damn thing. She had told me they werent that great but I figured she was exagerating a little. Heck no, those things suck. I especially like the foglights, turn em on or off and it makes absolutely NO difference.
Anyway, I was lookin at getting her a set of these, http://www.americanmuscle.com/94-04-...rojectors.html but reading on here I have found alot of people saying that the pattern sucks, the fit sucks, and they leak like a sieve. I kept searching and found a bunch of cheaper HID kits. So I was thinking I would get her an HID kit, but then alot of posts were saying you cant use the factory housing or it'll blind other drivers so get a projector lens with the HID kit. Well, how can I get a projector lens when all the new lenses suck? Im confused by this 'double talk', so can anyone steer me through the darkness to a good light setup for her car? To be honest, just go with a HID kit, or even cheaper, go with some Silverstars. They are bright enough for me. Alot of people bitch when im behind them and say that my lights are so damn bright.
Projector headlights are f'n hideous and don't belong on a mustang to be honest.

well the headlights are said to have minor leaks, but resealing them would save you money. Then just upgrade the bulbs. Thats what i did, i am going to go ahead and reseal them or "bake" them when i get home.

Well i got the smoked clear corner headlights from AM and I just sealed them and haven't had any problems yet. I also got the chrome turn signal bulbs, and threw on some Silverstars. Its the chit.

+1 for the silverstars. Huge difference and very reliable. Coming up on two years on mine and still light up those dark country roads very well. People even flash there lights at me like I'm driving with the high beams on..
