I've seen a few black hood decals, and I like how they look. I was wondering if anyone had any pics of a black mustang with a silver or white hood decal.
http://www.americanmuscle.com/silver...ood-decal.html In case anyone was confused. |

haven't seen any of the with white/silver.. but those things are a PITA in my opinion.... trying to get all the air bubbles out and make sure there are no wrinkles. One mistake and you can basically call it quits.

Maybe a flat-black decal would look kinda cool on a black car..eh ??
And a flat-black decklid overlay. It would match up with a *COUGH* chin spoiler

You are not suppose to apply it dry but with alcohol, water and soap mix. Check out the stripe selector post for how to apply decals.

I think I'll be alright with the apply. I wouldn't even dream of trying it dry. My buddy did that with his bumper inserts and a few of the letters are a little off- angle.
Buster, I actually like the stripes you pointed out better. I think I've seen those on Ebay before, just in black. You know of a site that sells them? The flat-black thing sounds pretty cool, but I've never seen any decals that aren't white, silver, or just black. |

Cola, unless I'm missing something, all I could find was some rally stripes for the hood.

Now I like that, better than spending the $180 for the dang honeycomb piece they are charging!
I might have to get that now!
