Default 2000 coupe interior

If my interior is like everyone else's stock interior that has a CD player then in the center of the dash you have the stock radio w/cassette right below the A/C, temp, fan knobs and the CD player below the radio. Has anyone replaced the radio with an aftermarket combination tuner/radio/CD player and then did something with the space below the new install? Did you leave the old CD player in, replace it with another piece of electronics? What can be done with that space? I'm confused about what to do with that space.

if you buy a new head unit you'll need to use a "DIN adapter plate" it has the place on top where your new head unit goes and then a pocket on the bottom.

Zigg you have a different radio setup than the 2000 people, we've got 2 seperated singles instead of the 1 double

You have this

We have this

Bill I would just put your new headunit in the top where the cassette/radio and take the CD player out of the bottom and find a storage type of thing to put in there.

Yup it was the 7401u. I didn't have too many complaints with it, but it wasn't the BEST.

I Still have it but now its in the Taurus. Now I've gone to alpine(It looks just like Venom's), which has good sound quality but not quite as fancy as the panasonic. The one thing i am missing with the alpine is the tilt. My friends all thought the tilt was amazing
