Im thinkin about getting some blackouts but i dont want too much black on the back of my car and i think im about at that point. I have the rear valence blackout, the decklid blackout, mach 1 spoiler(not shown in pic), and 3rd brake blackout(not shown in pic). If i got the taillight tint, i would get rid of the 3rd brake light tint. But idk, Would that be too much black? Maybe I'll remove the valence too? Heres a pic from about 8 months ago but the only difference as stated above is the mach 1 spoiler and 3rd brake blackout. I also added a pic of what it would look like.

Lances03SVT 06-18-2007 05:12 PM

I say yes!

zigzaggthefag321 06-18-2007 05:44 PM

Jack The Ripper 06-18-2007 05:51 PM

I've always liked the way the black across the middle splits up some of the color. I'm not sure I would be a big fan of everything black. I don't know maybe I would have to see it in person. I debated on doing the "mustang" and valence but I like the way it looks with only the tails and in between the tails black.

phil_the_thrill 06-18-2007 06:46 PM

mark me down for yay

Dave04Mustang 06-18-2007 08:10 PM

I always think it depends on the color of the car.. I don't like the blackout on red cars but I think it would look great with your silver car. So I say go for it.

NoKturnaL 06-19-2007 09:41 PM

the photo shop pic makes the tailight look even darker than they would with the real tint overlays. i say yay

GETNUTZ11 06-25-2007 08:42 PM

ill vote for the tint

Kains03GT 06-26-2007 02:53 PM

I say go for it!

v6'stang 06-26-2007 06:26 PM

sure, go for it! and unlike daves comment about red cars and not liking the tint on them...i luv it. red and black were ment to go together, lol.

Cheddarbob 06-26-2007 10:23 PM

tint it

yellowstang99 06-27-2007 08:56 PM

Definitely yay. You could always pull it off if you didn't like it.

Stang Girl 06-28-2007 07:14 PM

I'm not too crazy about that black decal/sticker you put on the bumper. I think it's throwing off the decision of whether or not you should put the tint on.

ec2690 07-01-2007 07:38 AM

I'm gonna have to go with nay. I don't like how its all black in the back there

07torchGT 07-02-2007 12:32 PM

go for it

00GT909 07-04-2007 04:23 PM

:ohsnap: Is that the "Honeycomb" Trim Panel and the Smoked Tail Light covers from this site? I was wanting to get that for my Mustang. I like it more with both black

No his is painted like mine)that is the Trim panel you are talking about.

If you are not up to tint for the taillights, you could always go with the retro style, like myself has....

TClark22 07-04-2007 10:43 PM

go for it...but it would look better without the valance black thingy...

and who ever said blackouts looked bad on red cars...WOW WRONG!

00GT909 07-04-2007 10:50 PM

Would it be better if I just got the trim panel or if I painted it?

theycallmevirg 07-04-2007 10:57 PM

alright, thanks for the comments. I ordered the blackouts so they will be here in a few days. In the mean time, I pretty sure im going to be removing the valence, but not too sure. As for the honeycomb thing in the back, its not honeycomb or painted. It's just vinyl, looks just as good as paint though, and better than the honeycomb in my opinion!

ncraig0519 08-29-2007 09:30 AM

i have a silver mustang also and was thinking about the blackouts for the headlights, taillioghts, and fog lights. should i buiy the blackouts (i think GTS makes them) from the site or buy tint
and i say yay

krazypony 08-29-2007 10:37 AM

I plan on doing the same on mine too...looks sharp but I am not digging the bottom part of the bumper with the decal/paint.

Hell I am having hard enough time trying to get some jackarse on ebay to send me my lettering inserts for the rear bumper #$%@!^& but thats another story!
