Default Rear Window tint lifting...

Has any one had thier window tint in the back not completely stick resulting in a white hazy look? I called the tint shop back and he told me that the black bumps caused the tint not to stick and that there was nothing that they could do. However I've seen Stangs with clean back window tinting. Any thoughts?:helpsmili

I've heard of people putting black vinyl across the top of the back window. Have you heard of this?

I had a shop here want to do that but I found another shop that had a lifetime warranty on thier tint and they said they have had no problems with the back glass.

Over 2 years later it is still perfect!!

Yeah the shop that I had mine done at has the same "lifetime warranty" but when I called them, they told me that it was due to a defect in the car, and that it wasn't their fault.

it isnt their fault...its the dot matrix that ford puts on there...it blocks the tint from sticking to the window

i tint windows myself and the dots on the back make it really hard to apply. you can do a nice job on the back window by taking your time and putting some extra effort into it, but most people take it somewhere to be done and the guy doing it wants to get it done as fast as possible.
