Yea I just bough this thing and it AWESOME! I dont know why I never had one before? It takes like 2 minutes topps to dry the car off and it leaves NO streaks, scratches or anything!:pepper: It was about $10 at O'reilleys.

The paint is all wet before and with one swipe its completely dry like it was never wet and theres an awesome shine!:clap:

Another item is the California Car Duster, one of the best purchases I've ever bought!

My car duster is black. I once went three weeks without washin the car... just dusting it every other day. Daily driven, and garaged when it rained. :D

I thought that it scratches the paint if you dust off a car or wipe a car down while its dry and has dirt on it?

We use the cali water blades at work. they work great.

California Water blade:
Works GREAT! But I don't used one anymore because I am obsessed with swirls and don't want to take any chances. THE ONLY THING TO REMEMBER IS ANY SLIGHT SPECK OF DIRT WILL SCRATCH YOUR FINISH even slightly. Just remember to wash it before you use it and you will be good to go. I remove the hose nozzle and flood the surface of the car to speed up drying, it is funny but it works. Then I follow up with a Meguiars Drying Towel.

California Car duster:
Works awesome too to remove pollen, light dust, etc....
HOWEVER, if your cars finish is SWIRL and Cobweb free, you will induce them back into your finish. Our clearcoat is very soft, other vehicles might be okay, but not the Mustang. Please keep in mind I said Swirls and Cobwebs, not scratches. The CCD claims not to scratch your finish, says nothing about swirling your finish. I choose to use a Quick Detailer like Meguiars Quik Detail or NXT Spray Detailer and a clean Microfiber towel.

Is using a quick detailer with a MF cloth with very light dust on the car safe to do??? I'm obssed with detail spray, lmao

Yup, not a problem. The detail spray will lift the dust from the surface so that there is no scratching or swirling. Just make sure you are using a clean microfiber towel.

I stopped using the Quick Detail because I kept getting it all over the plastic trim. That annoys me so much when I see wax on the plastic.

Actually, everything QD I have actually REMOVES white residue. Try some Meguiars Quik Detail or NXT Spray Detailer.

Meguires quick detail works really well. I've just heard u have to have a good coat of wax down to keep on the safe side.

I used to use Turtle Wax Plantium series Detail Spray, it works very well and I loved it. They stopped making it and now make that ICE stuff, but I don't feel like shelling out that much money for detail spray, sooooo I switched to Meguiers QD and works well.

the ice qd is well worth the 8 bucks that stuff works awsome and leaves no white residue just a great shine

I dont know what this white residue is that some people speak of. Never had it with meguiers or turtle wax platinum and I could get a bottle of both for 8 bux

lol, i use a plethora of products on my car when i fully detail it... Ive used Rain-X soap with little beads of wax in it on my old car, stuff worked AMAZING on that car and brought out the deep color of the dark tourmaline... havent tried it on my true blue, just use Meguiars Gold class soap. To dry we use The Absorber

The Absorbed is an odd little fellow. Feels like plastic but absorbs like 25 towels,and is simple to ring out, you will be amazed when you twist it and a fountain shoots out (hopefully not back onto your car)
and at my friends house, a combination of California jelly blade (and old faded hard-plastic handled version) and the absorber, works amazing.
True Blue can be a bitch to keep clean, but is god-damned rewarding when it is.
