Talking Results of 8hr's of detailing (56k grab a snickers)

Spent most of the day yesterday washing and polishing my car. It was my first time ever using a porter cable and some serious polish. I started around 1pm and didnt finish til almost 9. I took a shower and passed out soon after LOL. Here is what I did:
-Washed car with Dawn
-Clay bar with Blackfire clay bar
-Washed car again with Meguire's NXT car wash
-Removed headlights, tail lights, 3rd brake light, and taped up the trim
-Used Menzerna's Final Polish II with white pad
-Next Menzerna's Finishing Touch Glaze w/ black pad
-Finally Menzerna's Full Molecular Jacket w/ red pad
-For the tires I used Meguire's High Endurance Gloss gel.

Well here are he pics.

I'm gonna be doing something like that soon, except using all Meguiar products. I don't have a porter cable, but have a Craftsman Waxer/Polisher/Buffer. Got it as a gift, so I gotta find some pads that are 10 inch for it.

Looks GREAT btw, black is a tough color to look good.

I used Armor All tire gel the other day, very pleased. I've used a lot of tire sprays/gels/foamsm lol.

One more thing, that's such a SICK pic or your arse with the KDW2s. By far the best pic I've seen with 295/35's, mmmmmm, I got to get me some of those.

Hey now, stop looking at my rear end. LOL. Yeah, I knew someone was going to ask for an a$$ end shot, so I took it upon myself to take a pic of it before someone asked.

LOL, I think I got most people beat, except for the hard core detailers. I still have to take off my rims and clean the back plus clean and detail the fender wells.

Nice man. HAHA this thread is kinda funny though because I am about to post a very similar thread here in the next few days. I spent 8 hours detailing my car on Good Friday since we didnt have school. I also took some pics that night and the next day. Just be looking for the pictures in the pictures forum here in the next day or so.

Im gonna be doing the same. Already bought Meguiars NXT wax and a MF polishing pad. About to order some #80/#83 Wax since I can't find it in any local stores.

What's a good pad to use for the buffing with #80/#83? I have a Craftsman Orbital Buffer, works well, but it's 10" pads, so kinda hard to find them.
