I did this write up today. Hopefully it helps some people out.

hey is there a place online that I can get one of those porter cables? how long does it usually take you from start to finish?
|
It takes me about an hour per coat of wax, plus the time it takes me to wash the car and clay bar it. The wheels/ tires take 5 min each. So Id say about 5 hours or so just for the exterior. All those sites I listed in my write up sell the porter cable. Autogeek sells a couple good kits and you can get it at amazon.com.

If I clay my car I can have it washed clayed washed dried, polished and waxed in 2 hours with one coat of each. It doesnt take that long if you have a porter cable...
5 hours is rediculous. Do you fall asleep while doing it? |
