I have a 96 mustang 3.8 V6, And it started making a creaking sound when i turn the wheel. sort of like rubber rubbing against rubber. I was thinking the front end might need to be lubed I hade an oil change about 1 month ago "full service" or so they say and i don't think they libed it. any comments would be appreciated. first time i ever heard a car make that noise. :wallbash:

Is it a rubber on rubber issue have you checked your wheel well....maybe the problem is in there. If not..........
Could be any of 3 things: 1. Needs lubing/tightening the brushings 2. Also could be Tie rods and ball joints.... 3. Or you steering rack is having issues. I'd get under there and lube the brushings. If that doesnt work go get it inspected by a professional. For future reference might want to post this question under General Tech or the V6 section not very many ppl would have seen this. Goodluck
