I need help....
I have a '96 gt and the fender emblems are kinda jacked up from the previous owner. Does anyone know a good way to get them off without messing my paint? Keep in mind the adhesive is also...9 years old.

best thing to do is a blow dryer and fishing line. use the blow dryer for a good 5mins get it really hot and then use the fishing line to snake it behind the emblem and pull them off. This is how i did it on my F150 when i acetoned my emblems. good luck. also dont worry the paint wont be harmed by the blow dryer.

If that doesnt work then take a flat head screw driver and wrap a thin towel around the head and scrape it off. If you do it carefully then you wont mess up the paint.
Try the hairdryer first though.

I heated them up with a hair dryer and just pulled them off with my fingers. Wasnt hard at all.

That easy?! Super sweet. Which emblems should I go with? I have an idea....SOHC 281 Badges. Either that..or the 99+ GT emblem or maybe the original 96 Gt one. Any suggestions?
I like the SOHC and the 96 GT badges.I have thought about changing mine too.
I just ordered the SOHC yesterday. Things are awesome.
Still haven't gotten them yet. This makes me sad.
Relax, it has only been 4 working days since you ordered it.
Ordered last Tuesday.
Only reason I was making a big ****ing deal about it, somebody called saying they work for MT. That my card has been declined, yet the money was already taken out.

hardest part is getting the old adhesive off your paint..........it was a real pain in the a** but well worth the effort:beerchug:
