2002 Mustang Complete Clear Tail Light?

Can anyone tell me someone that manufactures a completely clear tail light for a 2002 Mustang?

krazypony 04-15-2009 09:45 AM

you mean like this: https://mustangboards.com/mustang-cl...s-99-04-a.html And yes they are still for sale!

BoostedMKIV 04-15-2009 09:48 AM

Please don't put those on your car.
Such rice.

...and that's coming from an import-owner.
:(

LMAO! Ya gotta love it when even the import guy chimes in like this! Though I do agree with this post, I support your right to do whatever the hell you want to do with your ride bro. You might see me laugh at you a time or 2 though. LOL. Good Luck

krazypony 04-15-2009 01:12 PM

They would prob be good if you tint them with VHT

stinter12 04-15-2009 01:18 PM

completely clear no red - bulbs do the work

thanks for your opinions, but i think you are wrong - i am a die hard American Muscle

I suppose you will think the Kenne Bell under the hood is rice to!

King 04-15-2009 01:29 PM

I can't speak for everybody, bu I don't want to help somebody who doesn't appreciate the help that has already been given. It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but lighten up dude.

stinter12 04-15-2009 01:38 PM

I appreciate everyone and their help when it is constructive. What krazypony has is not what i am looking for and i appreciate it. I totally agree with what you say King. Sorry I blew up!

King 04-15-2009 01:46 PM

I'll keep my eyes out for some...but I've never seen any mustang taillights that don't have any red or anything in them.

stinter12 04-15-2009 01:59 PM

a guy posted a photo on www.americanmuscle.com under the chrome third brake light picture -
thanks

spike_africa 04-15-2009 03:04 PM

APC used to make them. I don't think they are made any more. Best bet is look through ebay for them.

krazypony 04-15-2009 03:17 PM

I think they have to have some red in them, for DOT approval?

I still think itll look ugly but to each his own.

No...KB is definitely not rice.
Which is why it would be such a shame to ruin a nice car with riced tails.
I'm just trying to help, bro.....don't get it twisted.
:beerchug:

What about smoked taillights, instead of clear?
Those are pimp.

stinter12 04-15-2009 03:50 PM

Everything else on the car is cleared out - i guess i could switch everything to smoked

Wombozi17 04-17-2009 12:00 AM

I have a set of completely clear taillights for my car.

But i tinted them. They are an incomplete project just sitting in my garage. Cant get red bulbs bright enough to shine through.

stinter12 04-17-2009 01:43 PM

Do you recall where you got them? I wouldn't mind seeing how they turned out as well.

Wombozi17 04-17-2009 07:05 PM

I got them on ebay. They were APC brand lights. They are clear lenses with chrome "plated" plastic housing. Im looking for pics right now so i can show my results.

stinter12 04-20-2009 12:50 PM

I tried getting the picture posted but i couldn't get it to link. Look like the stock tail lamps just completely clear instead of completely red. I appreciate everyone's help but I am starting to think i should just go smoked.

stinter12 04-20-2009 12:53 PM

MustSee those links were helpful, but can't stand any of them. They will definitely not look good! I am thinking of going smoked.
