Royal Purple SyncroMax

Did a service on the T-45 today...used The RP syncromax... my transmission is noticeably smoother shifting now. I never thought it would make a difference, but I can honestly recommend it...good stuff.

Good to know. I have service coming up maybe mid next month, I'll have to give it a shot.

Can you please tell me how much was the RP, thanks. I always wanted to know if RP is overrated or not, thanks.

Royal Purple is not overrated if you ask me. And pricing varies on where you buy it, just like anything else.

Can it be used in the TR-3650? I need to do a complete fluids change on the car and want the best fluids in for my track day in May.

Thanks, I will have to look into getting some of that. I am also considering Amsoil, perhaps I will get Amsoil just to do a counter comparison.

As a former user of amsoil, don't do it. My friends race team used to use it in his race truck and he said it made shifting a pain, and the transmission really heated up. It's cheap, and I wouldn't use it if I could avoid it.

Sorry dude, your friends an idiot.. No offense, I'm sure he's a great guy and all, but Amsoil is one of the best lubricants on the market. If it wasn't so difficult to get I'd use it for every oil change.

Id use it if it werent for the ridiculous advertising they used to do a loooong time ago about never having to change the oil once you put amsoil in.

I trust Data sheets. One thing I don't like about Royal Purple is that they don't post the data sheets on their website, or at least I haven't been able to find it.

Dude, we put the triple filter Amsoil system in my Dad's '95 Dodge ram and we only change the oil in it once every year or two.. Amsoil is damn good stuff.
