Default ODOMETER REPAIR

There used to be a thread on how to replace the worm and crown gear for an odometer. Does anyone know where it is or can someone let me know how to do this. I'm buying this one from Southern Electronics in Richmond, VA:
CAN FIT: FORD, CROWN VIC, THUNDERBIRD
MUSTANG, and GRAND MARQUI
WORM AND CROWN GEAR SET #10-021 $48.00
Free Priority Freight
Thanks!
