If I got the venom kit installed in my 03 GT and I make a routine visit to my local ford dealer for a service, is there going to be a problem with my warranty being voided?

I can't imagaine that you would have any warrenty left with nitrous or any power adder. When you get to the point of going with a power adder you need to be to the point where you just don't care about warrenties.

That's the gay part of warranties. They always find a way to try to screw you over. Even if you don't have any power adders and you have a problem, they most likely will try to find a reason to blame the owner of some sort of negligence. That's why I try to keep up with the service dates and keep all records. Like you said, it's easier to hide nitrous than any other power adder. The only power adder that I can think of that probably won't void your warranty might be the steeda superchargers with the re-flash, but im not sure.

say for example there was an engine problem and you were running a nitrous kit, then removed the kit to try to take advantage of your warranty, what would be the best way to cover up the evidence?

Return it to stock condition is the best way.

How long did it take you to install the kit?

I would say in about a 3rd the time, you should be able to pull everything back off. Hardest part will be running the wire through the firewall. Maybe some of that can be hidden. Also, with the Venom, keep in mind you need to tap into the injectors. Hiding that from someone who is looking will be a problem too.

In the event that you have a major catastrophie with the nitrous like a burned piston, your goose is cooked. That will be obvious that nitrous caused the problem. No hiding that one no matter what you do with the kit.

Your problem now is you are just nervous. Once you start spraying and having fun and using the kit correctly, you will soon forget all this. This is a very safe kit.

best advice, spray! Follow the startup guidelines in the manual. Go from the smallest shot first and read your plugs. Read your plugs. Read your plugs.

Before spraying, pull a plug. See how it looks. Then, run the small shot. Check your lights. If they stay green, pull a plug. See how it looks. If not lean, increase to the larger jet etc...

Just be smart and follow this proceedure, and you will be good to go. Before you know it, you will be having a blast. Just don't get carried away. Give the motor a chance to rest.

I have not installed the kit yet, but I will. Yeah, I think im just a little nervous about it, but I heard that the venom kit is one of the safest kits. I think once I begin spraying it will be all better So can you feel the difference with your venom kit when your at WOT? What size nozzle are you using now?

if you use nitrous...and your a/c goes out..chances are theyll fix it...same if your suspension craps out...rotors get warped...steering craps out...etc...as long as its not dealing with the actual engine...if a problem arises, it should be covered under warranty. HOWEVER, that much power will kill any intake, engine, exhaust, rear end, and tranny warranty that u got

I still have the extended warranty on my car. It has 65,000 miles on it and Ive had nitrous on it for going on a year and a half now. I just had to take everything off before it goes up there but it is a real b!tch. They never noticed that it had other stuff on it. That was before I had an aftermarket exhaust though. I wont be taking my X pipe off so I guess my warranty is as good as void now.

naw, an x-pipe wont void any warranty. aftermarket pipes are common among mustang owners, so if they see that, they wont think anything. But I was told by a ford rep himself that IF there are any ENGINE-RELATED issues, the first 2 things they check is a chip and nitrous. But if you have some other problem like short shifter, diff rear end gears, etc but the engine is stock....they SHOULD fix the engine, no questions asked.
