Default Ram Air Hood

Guys i was donering if instead of the filter at the supercharger where the impeller is can i put a ram air intake from a hood scoop there? I am unfamiliar with the whole ram air thing and what i have to do as far as a MAF if anything.
Any suggestions

You can see my set up in the following picture and it is a Paxton Supercharger.

pine, i hear what your asking, and i think that the direct air would be good, i have been thinking of something to that affect, just be carefull about water being inhaled. as for as hp wise i dont think you'd get much more out of it. let me know if you do this, and how it works out 4 ya.
