Venom Recluse Kit for a 03 Cobra
#3
Check out http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/ . They have a bunch of guys over there running nitrous with the eaton. Lots of good info.
I don't know to much about the Venom kits, but I would hate having a 10 Oz. bottle...

Yea scratch that venom kit. Speaking from personal experience, the only way to go with the eaton is the NOS Plate Kit. No puddling issues, it's a perfect mist shot straight into the good 'ole heaton.
No matter what please, please, please get the safety pieces to go with it.
Window switch, bottle warmer, purge, do it right and do it one time. Nitrous done right can be your best friend, done wrong and it is your worst enemy. Don't want another mustang, much rather a fellow Termi, lost to the bottle.
EDIT: And depending on what you're doing look at the N2MB Wot Box.

They just added support for a Window Switch add-on (just requires you to buy the cable for $65) that can be used in conjunction with the WOT Shifting and the 2-Step feature. And I must say, a sprayed/ported eaton on a 2-step with no-lift shifting is a killer......not biased or anything.
Also, they're working on adding control of the nitrous solenoids by gear and rpm (progressive spray setup) using the same software. No charge other than the cable if you don't already have it.
Just an FYI thrown in there. And yes, the no-lift shifting makes a big difference. I have never broke loose shifting into 4th gear until installing the WOT Box.

The NOS Plate kit was on Amazon for $500 with free shipping a few months ago.
But, for your situation you'd have to get a CNC shop to make you a custom plate, as the one that comes with it only fits the stock plenum and eaton.
Won't work with your KB I don't believe.
But plate kits are much, much safer than the standard nozzle sprayers that come in the generic NOS, Venom, Dynotune kits because they offer a more evenly spread spray and also give a lesser chance of it puddling inside the supercharger or intake.
Plenty of guys run the generic kits just fine, but IMO I swear by the plate kits.
The best possible situation would be to get a plate kit that goes in between the supercharger and lower intake, but I've yet to see that done for a Terminator. Seen it done with meth injection though!!!
Just for *****, the fastest stock eaton-powered Terminator uses the NOS Plate Kit when he sprays.....and he runs 9s. So it must work pretty damn good!

Look around dealing out around probably 800 bucks or so.
Look at buying some of the better **** out on the market, research it extensively before you go off and buy.
If you know how to do the work, great, if not, pay to have it done.
Paying for the work and the nitrous kit will be a lot cheaper in the long run then buying new internal parts for that cobra. And yea, I've watched the pop..
Tune, good safe kit, etc. Dynotune Nitrous may have somethign worthwhile, I haven't looked in about a year though.
Nitrous with a blower is a bit sketchy sometimes..just do some research..
