before or after mass air meter
I called acouple of shops today about getting a dyno tune for my dry shoot. One shop told me to relocate my nosle from the elbow to 8 inch before the mass air meter. Is this a good idea or what? He says it will help the air fuel. Just want to check to see if it will help.

NO! Don't! This is is one of those things that has some merit on paper, but in practise does not work. It is too hard to manage. I don't know of one driver who has done this on a Mustang where is worked. It may work on other cars which is why the shop is telling you this.
I would consider running from this shop and finding another place to go, becase you will never convince them otherwise. |
Nozzle should be located 3-6 inches from the throttle body with the correct orientation.
