Great info Dustin. Answered basically all of my questions. Didn't know it had to be manually activated above 3k. Figured there was a window switch of some sort. So the WOT sensor cuts off the nitrous when you let off the gas?

Even when the kit is on if you are not at WOT the WOT switch will not let the car spray. So unless you want to spend more money on a window switch, and for an auto its retarded to have one, then yeah you would flip the kit on over 3k rpms. When you are done and lift off the throttle the WOT switch would turn the kit off.

So does Compucar on their kits too, and they give you a nitrous filter in their kits to help keep the solenoids clean.

Not to often at all. It does happen to people, but its not a very common thing at all. Its also another reason I like Compucar. They are the only company that gives you a nitrous filter that keeps crap out of the nitrous solenoid from the bottle should things get in there from getting filled. This helps to keep it from sticking open or not fully closing.

All is making sense now lol. I'm really starting to understand how it all works together now. Thanks for all the info Spike!

All I am is waiting for my money....

So Zex, or Dynotune, or compucar? help me decide. Funds are really not much of a problem

mustangV6_04 02-12-2009 06:42 PM

any help?

spike_africa 02-12-2009 06:44 PM

Its your choice, but you know what company I would say. Are you going to go to Fun Ford Weekend coming at the end of the month? Because that is where I got mine and you will get the best deal there. Thats how I got the kit, a full bottle, and the gauge was straight from their tent at FFW.

i have work...

mustangV6_04 02-12-2009 06:55 PM

on the compucar kit whats the shot # on the 90hp jets

spike_africa 02-12-2009 09:04 PM

You mean the Jet size? Nitrous-46 Fuel-33

mustangV6_04 02-12-2009 09:42 PM

i was more thinking is it equivalant to a 75 shot?

spike_africa 02-17-2009 05:17 PM

Its a 90shot not a 75. It will make around 90rwhp. Which is fine on your motor trust me.

Yea with only the 90 shot you will be completely fine, i sprayed a 125 with a tune for the longest time, never had any problems. I think Justin melted cyl 3 on a 150, but i believe he was running the stock fuel system, so i dont think you want to go higher than a 150 without some supporting mods. Give in to the nitrous Gods, DO IT!.

mustangV6_04 02-18-2009 02:04 PM

oh it's being done lol I called compucar and instead of the 50,90,125hp jets they are sending me 50,75,90hp jets and it should be here tomarrow so i cant fucking wait!!!

spike_africa 02-18-2009 07:28 PM

NIce! start with the 50 to make sure everything is working well and pull a plug after your first run and check it to see how the motor is running. After that toss in the 75 jets, and soon you will be bored and use the 90hp jets and let Stephen have it. When are you going to install it?

SnTBakosFinest 02-18-2009 07:45 PM

Lol that 75 shot will eat Stephen alive :) The 90 is just going to embarrass him..

GL with everything you'll love it :)

mustangV6_04 02-19-2009 12:44 PM

prolly gonna install it this weekend or monday since i have the day off. What you up to on monday dustin? lol

spike_africa 02-20-2009 06:13 AM
