Getting a shop to install S/C
 

Alright I just purchased a used procharger 3 core intercooler etc from Badfish. I already have a Diablo Predator. Who can give me a ruff estimate on what I should be expecting to pay for install + dyno tune?

install is basically 8 hours at their rate which is usually 80-120 bucks/hr. Tune will end up costing you 250-500 bones or so. Plan on the high side... used kits are never as easy to bolt up as new kits.

shop that did all my work quoted me 600 for SC install and 300 for tune

not a bad price at all. 1200-1500 total is about normal out here

wow thats pretty expensive thats about what I was charged for my whole engine rebuild

just spend a weekend and install it yourself. Its not really that hard, just time consuming. I installed my non-intercooled kit in about 8 1/2 hours. But its way easier with the procharger cause they are self contained so you dont have to tap the pan like I did. Also the bracket is better designed imo than the vortech so it shouldnt take as long. Id say most of the time will be in the charge pipes and intercooler. Install price from a shop should be in the $500-600 range, but its really not worth that much since its just really the time and not hard labor.

install that chit yo self. i installed myself in about 10 hours with paxton intercooler. i had to re-clock my blower so that F'd me up.

like i said B 4 get the online instructions and inventory everything once it shows up. that way you wont have any surprises once it shows up.
