pcv valve and nitrous

I was reading another forum and they said that oil from the pcv valve blocks up the intake. And will cause detonation. They replaced them with oil breathers. Is this true and how would you delete the pcv valve. Would this affect a daily driver.

on a "track only" car you can delete the PCV system and install a E-Vac system, on a d/d you'll want to get an oil seperator system.

yes all that oily residue thats in the intake can and will dilute the incomming fuel/air charge, lowering the octane ratting of the fuel and can lead to detonation problems

Home Depot for one, most use the oil seperators used for air-tools.
there have been several write-up's on this(sorry I dont do links well) but Im sure someone will post a link to MD or other site(s) that have more info

use the search button there are a few threads on this and how to make and hoop your own oil seporator. Also steeda (www.steeda.com) sells them if you just wanna buy one and not deal with looking for parts.

could I use this oil separator from Jegs http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0002_761024_-1
Or a oil air seperator from home depot for a air gun
