Nitrous need a little more info.

I've been reading a lot of post on here about nitrous and have a few questions of my own.

Lets say I had this set up. http://www.americanmuscle.com/niexfoefikin.html
with a nitrous express RPM window switch. With the RPM range set at 3500 and 5200 RPM with a 75 shot. Now to my question :) I'm pulling up next to someone ready to race. Turn on the bottle and purge the system. Take off good, shift to second then shift to third and miss what happens? Will it star to spay when goes up over 3500 then stop at 5200? When the RPMs are falling back down because of the over-revved engine what happens? I think that's it for now.

Thanks

Chad

You would stop spraying (assuming you didnt lift the moment you know you arent in gear) because the window switch would stop it from spraying after 5200rpms or whatever you set it at. Thats the point of the switch.

Does it only spray the RPM ranges if its WOT? I mean what if for a split second it sprayed with no load on the motor from the miss shift? Would that be long enough to cause any damage?

Just don't miss and every thing will be fine.:nono:

If wired up correctly yes you car should only spray when at WOT and in the preset RPM rang you picked.
