Default Used v2-sq

A used vortech v2-sq might be for sale close to me. I was going to just buy a new one but I would have to wait for next summer. The blower has 5,000 miles on it. Anyways is there any problems with buying a used blower. Anything I would have to replace or anything? Thanks

if theres problems, send the blower back to vortech and they will rebuilt the internals for like 350. You can also get the serial number and call and ask to see if its been in for service.

Would it hurt to just put it on as is and if anything goes wrong just take it off and send it to get rebuilt or is there a chance if it fails that it could hurt my engine? The blower is in good condition

Nothing wrong with a used setup, that is the route I took. In fact, it was the only way I ever could have gotten where I am today.
