need help
i have a 96 gt . i have a few mods including , shortys , 4:10 gears , h pipe with no cats, short thorw , k & n filter .....i was thinking about nos ....is this going to be ok with the 4:10 gears and if so how big of a shot do you recomend. thanks

I would go 100shot with a upgraded fuel pump for saftey and extra pressure. Any efi wet kit form NX,Compucar,ZEX,NOS,Ny-trex etc... would be great.
Only modded need for a small shot of 35-100 is colder plugs and a tune if you want ot be safer. I would however get a fuel pump like i said and a window switch if its manual tranny.
And 4.10's are fine just as long as you can get traction.
For beginners to nitrous i kinda like ZEX with its easy install and built in Fuel pressure saftey switch makes it easy for those who have never used nitrosu before. but they arent very powerful kits.

Colder plugs are spark plugs that have the ceramic part of the plug either farther out (colder) or farther in (hotter). You use this ot help with pre-ignition to keep detonation away etc... I personly use NGK TR6's they are one rang colder then stock and are fine for what you are gonna do. they are very cheap as well.
Part number 4177 at any parts store that carries them.
A window switch is a item that takes the engines rpm and only allows what ever you hooked up to it ot operate within a specific rpm. Like with nitrous you would set the rpms for 3,000rpms to 5,600rpms and it only sprays then. So in an manual car if you miss a gear if wont keep spraying and blow the manifodl when all that nitrous gets into the manifold and the car hits the rev limiter.
