Thinking about getting the V500.
 

Im looking to supercharge this beast, but wont be financally ready till the end of the summer, maybe early fall. Unless someone here knows where I can get a complete ProCharger kit for cheap, or has a slightly used one for sale. But anyways, till then I wanted a good power adder. I was thinking about getting the 1000, but I dont think I need a huge 10lb bottle, since I wouldnt be spraying that much anyways, plus size is a factor in the trunk. So I figured for a every now and then nitrous set up, the 500 is more suitable to my needs.

The question is, how long would a 10oz bottle last. Lets say a 75 shot, and Id probably only spray for a few seconds (30 seconds max). Another thing I see in the 500 picture is a fake cola bottle.. What the hell is that for? And the only difference between the 500 and 1000 is the bottle size right? And the lack of a 25 shot injector?

You get a free safeway cola with every V500 purchase!:clap: No but seriously its there for size reference and the 10oz bottle wont last long at all with a 75 shot, maybe one run with it.

You wouldn't even be able to spray for 30 seconds. There is a formula for nitrous but i forgot, i think if you use a 100 shot for 10 seconds you use 80% of a pound, now factor that with a 75hp shot with a 10oz bottle, it just wont last

The Venom Recluse bottle is prolly good for a couple of pulls and thats about it. If you sprayed for 30 seconds, you would have no motor left most likely. You should only spray for about 10 - 15 seconds max and you never want to spray back to back to back. Motor needs a chance to cool.

The difference between the 500 and 1000 is a lot more then just a bottle! The Venom 500 is designed to be hidden, that is why the bottle is small. It is so you can hide it under your seat. And the enstire system taps into the ECU rather then under the hood. You still need to run the nitrous line under the hood, but that is it.

Be sure to get smart on nitrous before you play with it.
