my mail order tune made 408 horsepower with 12.5 a/f at 5500 rpms due to a cavitating fuel pump

i would of suggested that to him but i dont think tim does mailorder tunes for kits people put together themselves. i could be wrong. you could try it will probably be like 500-600 dollars for the tuner and 1 tune.

I'll just sit here and wait till Jeredan actually gets this thing and installed. Then make a poll for how long its gonna take for the motor to blow. lol

This guy seems to be wanting to sell the kit outright now....:wallbash: But he still hasnt made up his mid he said the reason that he want to sell it is because he can get a ZEX Wet kit for like $800 bucks...LMAO. I said hey man ill match the price that theyre asking and put a little money on top. I told him all about that zex kit. Even if he doesnt do this I will still be putting a vortech on it. I found a place where I can get everything but the head unit for 700 bucks. Thats all the brackets, belts, pipes, hoses, oiling, intake, discharge valve, injectors, and a lightning MAF. All brand new stuff. Everything but a head unit. Ive seen those go for about 600 bucks used. A brand new one costs $1500. If I pieced together a whole brand new SQ kit I can get it for $2200. Thats before the mail order tune ill have. If I can find a used head unit itll come to like $1400 for the whole kit. I will sell my nitrous kit piece by piece and come up with the money for the base kit. Then Ill find the money for a head unit. Thats if this guy BS's me.

You're basically buying a tuner kit, I've seen them sold for 2,300-2,700 for the S/SQ-trim.

You also need:
Focus SVT Pump: 100
42# Injectors: 350
90mm LMAF: 100 (Could peg which means you should get the SCT Big Air Maf)
Spark Plugs: 30
Boost Gauge: 100
Fuel Pressure Gauge: 200
Pod: 50
Tune with Xcal: 550

That's if you installed it all yourself.
Total: 1,480
Grand Total:3,780

No you dont understand, its a complete KIT including the injectors, MAF, and all the rest of the parts except for the actual head unit. Also I am putting the blower on before I buy any guages and all that stuff. Im just going to get the darn thing on there and running. I know that I need to watch my fuel pressure and everything but guys come on now were just talking about some puny 8 pounds of boost here......

So everything before the head unit costs $700.
Theres a head unit on ebay for $600
Thats all I need guys for right now. Then when I get that stuff Ill buy a simple mail order tune. All that would never come to even $2000. Whare did $3700 come from? Even with a new head unit It would cost me $2200+ 350 for a chip......+ 2550 total and the blower would be on and running. Im installing everything. Putting a non-intercooled blower on will be childsplay for me.
