Default Post Presidential Debate #1 -- Who will you vote for?

Unfortunately I was working last night during the first Presidential Debate of the You Choose '08 Presidential Campaign. I've heard from several people that McCain bombed, and Obama stole a lot of voters.

So I'm curious. After watching the first Presidential Debate, who are you leaning towards voting for on Nov. 4th?

Obama owned him. I did like McCains joke about Obama not being able to reach when hes so far to the left. Even Obama laughed at that one.

i think they both brought up interesting points and solutions but they both bickered like little girls. I thought it was very annoying. The only thing i really liked was that Obama was able to agree with some of the things McCain brought up but also make a counter argument at the same time. I did not like how every time Obama made a comment or solution that McCain didn't like he felt as if he had to bash him and prove him wrong with his frequent statements that he as been to this many foreign countries. I don't give a rats *** about how many fawking countries he has been to. I would of rather had McCain try to be an adult about his disagreements. My vote is with Obama because of his attitude and i want a president that is going to bring in new ideas and new ways to solve our countries crisis's.

I still don't like either one of them. I watched a little I was out to dinner so I missed a lot of the financial debate (only thing i was interested in) which I heard Obama didn't know crap about (which I already knew the man hasn't done a thing in IL for the life of him). Then when I got back they were mostly talking about the War. Also Afghanistan and Pakistan which I honestly don't give a **** about them. The financial problem is much more of an issue IMO than those idiots running around in their caves

You two are CRAZY! lol! Obama started out 8 time, 8 TIMES! with "McCain is right, I agree with Mr. McCain" Obama did nothing but show that he is a moron. Stop letting your love of the famous Obama cloud your judgement. He was weak on all subjects, all that he did was read what had been fed to him. He is the biggest freaking liberal I think that I have ever seen, he literally changed his views on nearly every topic I've heard him talk about. If he could keep his subjects striaght and get rid of all of the "Um, but's" I might actually be interested in hearing what he had to say.

I'm sorry that Obama fanboys are so weak minded that they have to listen to the media, but maybe you should actually watch the debate and make your OWN judgements.

It's pretty simple, neither McCain or Obama had the "wow" factor that everyone was looking for, but when even Hannity and Colmes (a couple of the most liberal mf'ers on TV) agree that McCain won the debate you know that all of the other liberal, *** faced media dumbasses are doing everything in their power to sway the weak minded to vote for the democratic, socialistic puppet of a candidate.

McCain did a good job of pointing out that Obama has no experience and did it repeatidly. The bottom line in my mind is that if Obama would stop listening to all of his "advisors" he MAY actually be a good choice, I'd love to see him speak for himself and actually give his own views, but he obviously is not capable of doing that.

My summary of the debate: The entire ordeal was pretty poorly executed. Obama, several times was extremely disrespectful of the debate, cutting off both the questioner and John McCain. John definitely should have given a better description of his plans for the "bailout" but all-in-all I feel like he did a good job of letting the Country know where he stands on the real issues. I'll give it to Obama, he is a good speaker, he just needs to learn respect and speak his own mind. I personally feel that there was no clear cut "winner" but I'd have to say that McCain was much more solid with his views and you didn't see much of a sway in his opinions like you did in Obama's.

Can't wait for the Palin/ Biden debate. Biden has already stuffed his foot so far into his mouth that it's going to be funny to see Sarah squash him like a bug.

You know, you really make McCain supporters look like idiots. He agreed with certain things that McCain said and why shouldnt he? They can't be total opposites. Jim wanted them to talk to eachother and debate among one another. Obama tried but McCain wouldn't even look at him. McCain has absolutely no argument other than Obama has no experience but what the hell has McCain done but follow Bush' policies? Hes a joke. And you say Obama follows all his advisors? Wheres your proof?

How about McCains campaign if he didn't have Washington lobbyists paying for all of it? How would he be doing?

You don't know me, and for you to judge EVERY Obama supporter calling them weak-minded is really retarded. But it doesn't really bother me because i'm not surprised. You have absolutely no credibility so your opinion doesn't mean ****.

You are obviously middle class. How could you support him? Do you have a good healthcare plan? How much do you pay for it? You my friend are a joke.

Reagan started the bullshit that made the rich richer, and just hoped that it would trickle down onto the middle class.

I'm selling my presidential vote on Ebay starting maybe the end of next week, so this presidential debate doesn't mean anything to me or my vote. That, my friend will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
Anyway, my personal opinion on both candidates is that neither McCain nor Obama is ready for the role, and they both have some really extreme plans. So it's really down to a vote for the lesser of evils, and no matter what, you're still voting for evil.

Excuse me? I have no creditibilty? I've been a supporting member here since the begining of 2005 so you should seriously shut the **** up. You are just like all of the other Obama supporters, blinded by the celebrity. I don't take too kindly to personal attacks, so mods, give me a little bit of a break here. I've been as open minded to this as I possibly could be, maybe you should re-read my post.

How can I support McCain? Because he doesn't propose a $4,400 tax hike on my income. I work VERY hard for my ******* money and I want it to stay in my pocket. Because he is a veteran that supports this country and doesn't have a ******* bitch of a wife that says "she is finally proud of this great country for the first time."

And, yes I do have a great comprehensive healthcare plan that costs me about $120/mo.

lmfao! That is ******* hilarious!

Dude, I really have no problem with anyone expressing their views at all. Steeda is just blinded by all of the celebrity surrounding Obama like all of his other supporters. I'm sorry, but with Lindsay Lohan wanting to "endorse" Obama, it just solidifies in my mind that I don't need him as a president.. lol

Hey Chris,

Not according to the polls.....

Ha! I mean, I'm all for equality, I'm all for giving any man/woman/black.white/blue or purple a chance and I'd like to see the True Obama speak. Instead of the book material that is fed to him. I think that he may have some good views on SOME things, but the tax increase is definitel NOT one of them..

I'll have to find the breakdown for his tax proposal again and I'll post it here, but I fall right into the category of a $4,000+ tax increase. If that Happens I'll lose my house, no doubt about it.

WN you have absolutely nothing to back up what you say. Your right, im blinded by the celebrity along with half the country. What makes you think I'M blinded by the celebrity? Do you know me? Absolutely not. Do you understand politics, and what is going on right now? Absolutely not.

McCain gives tax cuts to the wealthy, and screws the middle class. Don't you know this?

CNN poll results:

Who did the best job tonight? (at the debate)
Barack: 51
McCain: 38

Who would better handle Iraq?
Barack: 52
McCain: 47

Who would better handle the economy?
Barack: 58
McCain: 37

I'm not going to get involved in this argument (voting mccain btw, but I think both candidates aren't very good..), but no **** CNN's polls will be biased towards Obama. Go look at the Fox polls and it will say just the opposite...lol

Well I never get to chime in and voice my opinion without certain people jumping down my throat over it. Its ridiculous how opinionated, and stubborn some people can be. We'll see in November. To be honest, the government is going to rip all of us the **** off regardless.

Steeda, you seriously need to go and read the original post again. The only thing that I said (jokingly) was that the two original posts were crazy. As far as your post of CNN results, CNN is the most liberal, democratic-run "news" network on television. Any other website or media outlet (like pcola said) will be totally opposite of CNN. The media is trying to sway everyone to Obama and that is a fact.

I'm curious, when you talk about McCain's funding... Where has Obama gotten his money? No one knows. hmm.. Think about that before you talk on that subject.

I don't personally have any problem with you Steeda, I just think that you should take a moment to read and digest before you start spitting garbage.
