thats a pretty popular idea among kooks...there was a group that wanted manhattan to secede years ago...then theres a group that wants hawaii to secede...puerto rico has been talkin about that for a long time now...maybe its just me but i think those guys would have a much easier time just buying a one way plane ticket....easy way to squash the vermont movement would be to let them do it...then put up a border fence around them and a trade embargo

That's interesting! I grew up in Shasta County and never really heard that story....I also had a California History class in college and I don't remember talking about that..... however, that was about 10 years and 1,000 beers ago.
