president in the Oval Office.
2. Enron gave $420,000 to the president's party over three years.
3. It donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities.
4. The Enron chairman stayed at the White House 11 times.
5. The corporation had access to the administration at its highest
level and even enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease
deals for it.
6. The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized Enron for more
than $600 million in just one transaction.

The access of big business to government is nothing new. It's still disgusting though. You know Abraham Lincoln would take a meeting with any American. He didnt' get rich off it though.

look at the Weekly Standard for all of 1996-2001. You'll find constant references to the excesses of the Clinton administration and their questionable dealings with big business. Enron was among the small fish in that pile. Hell Billary kept the Lincoln bedroom occupied with visitors nearly every single day of his presidency regardless of whether or not he was actually "home" at the time.

Bush is no saint but the Clintons are out-and-out fukkin criminals. Hillary's ass should be declared a weapon of mass disgusting... it just keeps getting bigger!
