MGW install

Well I installed my shifter today, and at the request of grimmz I took a few pics.
The shifter gasket was'nt an exact fit, It was to long on one side and I had to trim one of the bolt holes to make it bigger, I hope my tranny doesn't leak.

Where does this piece of the shifter gasket go, the one in the last pic. I just left it out.

Looks good but your car is FILTHY inside. lol. how do you like that shifter? ive heard nothing but positive from MGW customers and those who compared others to MGW claim MGW is the better.

Ive had my shifter gasket for like 8 months now. Mabye someday ill finally get a MGW shifter.

I believe the last piece of gasket you have is for shifters like the triax and pro 5.0 that have a side mounted shift handle. Hows it shift and work?

It rains every other day here so I haven't bothered cleaning my car yet, it'll get a good washen before I go back to school Monday.
The shifter is awsome smooth, quick, crisp shifts. It take so much time away from shifting compared to stock. I have no complaints so far.
If I was you I would deffinantly make this my next mod.
Now I just can't wait to get my gears installed, Damn that speading ticket.

I feel like a dumbass for asking that question now. :wallbash: Shifts great, I don't really see the point in the shift stoppers though, the handle Isn't supposed to even touch them.

the 3650 has stops in it so when doing your shift stops put a peice of paper between and tighten it just enough so it snugs the paper right on the brink or just barely ripping the paper.

Dont worry bout it, the only stupid questions are the ones that arent asked.
