wow i didn'tknow how low the headers sit. Looks good man..

whitethunder46 12-27-2005 01:59 PM

Yea, the headers fit very well. Installer said they were very easy install once they got up in there and good fit. As far as clearance, I have no problems whatsover and sit nicely above the ground. My only clearance issues come from my resonators dangling very low.

macs03GT 12-27-2005 02:12 PM

yeah my resonators sit pretty low too...i have to make sure when i go over speed bumps they don't ding. I prob have a few dents in them from that. That and getting out of people's driveway

whitethunder46 12-27-2005 02:15 PM

Same here over the speed bumps... My tuner and I are doing gears and a few other tranny things next spring... so when we do, he'll have it up on a lift. I'm going to see if there isnt anything he can do or fabricate to help raise these up.

same here lol, over speed bumps i hve to listen for the sccrraaape

Which pic out of the four? my x-pipe is catted, so the end of the headers butt right up to the cats... is that what u mean? :o

beautiful, jusssssssttttt beautiful. I love the way the SLP mid-pipe site.

Shambles 12-27-2005 03:33 PM

You can see if you can adjust the hangars to pull the pipes up a little more...other than that you're kinda SOL.

csledd 12-27-2005 03:35 PM

mine never scrap on speed bumps or anything, sometimes over bump rail roads though. My car isn't lowered as much as you all though :(

whitethunder46 12-27-2005 03:44 PM

Don't you have the Steeda Catback? If so, the reason the SLP catbacks scrape is that the resonators are round, and they dangle very low, they're only drawback IMO. The steeda probably tucks up under the car a little better since they're mufflered

csledd 12-27-2005 03:45 PM

yeah I have the Steeda, but people always complain about scraping their LT's /shrug

whitethunder46 12-27-2005 03:48 PM

yea, I've never had a problem with my SLP LTs or the cats
