First time user and like what I've read and see. I'm probably one of the "Most Senior" (meaning OLDEST) guys to be here but I have to tell you...I'm on my second Mustang and I love it! I've got a 2004 GT Convertible and I've put a Cold Air Kit on it, lowered, Styling Bar, 2-Piece Hard Tonneau Cover, Billet Grill/Gas Cap and graphic lettering on the rear. Future plans call for 18" rims, headers and next cat back exhaust. I did the silver trim to the enterior but didn't like it so next will be woodgrain. Oh, also have a 150 watt amplier driving two 10" sub's....I do like my bass! Remember..."Age ain't nothin' but an attitude and a number!"

My first one was a '70 which I had waiting for me when I came back from the Vietnam "war"....although all my time was spent in Thailand. I didn't keep it very long because I didn't like it compared to the '58 Corvette I use to own. My next was a 2001 GT Coupe with 5-speed....Mineral Gray. Now I have a Silver 2004 GT Convertible and I really am enjoying the heck outta it!

Welcome grandpa! I guess I am dad at 37 years old! Thanks for making me feel young and THANK YOU for your service to our country. I to am a vet, but Desert Storm.

My next door neighbor is a new home contractor. He and a friend bought a brand new 1967 GT-500 when his best friend came back from Viet Nam on leave. His freind was KIA a few months later. He could never drive the car again so he left it at the boys parents house until 1985. In 1985 with still 2700 original miles on it, he picked it up. Drove it until 1991 but only ocassionally.

Now with a family and problems with paying insurance because the darn thing was worth so much money, he sold it to Reggie Jackson for nearly six figures. It was a vert...red with white top.

This car sold at B-J auction about two years ago for $190k if I recall.

Crazy story...if we only new today how people can touch our lives in the furture...and chunks of metal with four wheels.

Nope...not a Grand Pa yet...that's suppose to happen in May! I'm 62 and still love to Rock 'n Roll! Thank you for your service during Desert Storm! Speaking of cars we should have kept...I had a 69 Ferrari Dino 246 GT Coupe when I was stationed at Aviano AB, Italy. I bought it for $6 grand and sold it for $8,500 3 months later. As an E7 I couldn't afford having to buy a transmission and/or motor in case either went which is what happened to an officer doctor who had one too. But....if I had kept that puppy...it would probably go for about $70K now!! If only!!!!
