madmatt 12-06-2005 05:00 PM

Hey ,heres an idea, get them mounted and balanced, and then wait for it to snow, and then drive with them...:D Look great man, I wish I had gone D/R's.

MattJ 12-06-2005 05:18 PM

Your house is dirty, and whats that big ball of fuzz hiding behind them tires?

LoL of course Matt's finds somethin negative...LoL! Nice wheels, I wish I got bigger back tires, they are just perfect with no bulg around the rim...to bad Pirelli doesn't make a 315, 18'' tire..DOH! I love the black wheels with polished lips, they look so good! esspecially while driving.

lol, yeah I have too many projects right now. once my laptop is shipped out and the wheels are all done I'll clean that room up.

PureStang 12-06-2005 07:31 PM

who care....still drooling at the rims and tires

Lances03SVT 12-06-2005 07:52 PM

I'm going to find me some 315/30/18's when mine wear out.Congrats MachGT.

csledd 12-06-2005 08:04 PM

looks awesome.. hopefully I'll be getting some of those before Christmas (might not have tires until after if I get a new hood). Where did you end up buying the Nittos from and how much did you get them for?

those are gonna look so sexy on your car.

MachGT 12-06-2005 08:28 PM

LoL, I can tell you. Just got mine on and it ****ing snowed. Same combo as you and I did a 360 in the middle of a residential road going at about 15mph with no throttle or brakes. Car just decided it wanted to scare the **** out of me.

Samsstang 12-07-2005 02:15 PM

I dont even attempt to drive in the snow in mine for that very reason  ! Scared me one to many times! I just swallow my pride and take my little Hooptie S-10 p/u everywhere :(

stanger00 12-08-2005 06:16 PM

guess the 315's wont help. i figured that. thats why i have plan b in effect

im going to be buying a blown up 91 crx it will be mine as soon as i help my friend swap motors a ****ty 1.6 from a hf is going to be put in it nothing special. it will be easier to get around in and get double the mpg.

Amen to that. those events are always scary. I drove it last winter and was sideways with oncoming cars and cars in both lanes in front of AND behind me. Luckily I was REALLY tired and drove out of it instead of slamming on the brakes.
I drive my rusty 87 dodge ramcharger. its a rust bucket but I dont care. its got 4wd, and power everything.
your s10 cant be worse than my dodge. lol

Lances03SVT 12-08-2005 06:28 PM

Drove mine in a little snow and ice this morning and damn high performance summer tires suck in that stuff.Going to drive the 06 next time :)

MattJ 12-08-2005 06:42 PM

I drove mine through a small packed coat today. It was good! Easier than I rememberd.

MachGT 12-08-2005 07:15 PM

the f150 handles it alright, it's just 2wd though, I had to shovel it out in the back yard a bit today cuz it got into some really deep snow while I was trying to back out. I was on a bit of a sidehill so when the back tires spun a bit the back of the truck slid sideways into the deeper snow.

I'll have to be more careful where I park it back there!

stanger00 12-09-2005 04:34 AM

 my mustang is stuck on the side of the road its still in my community i have my shovel in hand. this weekend that crx will run.
