Mike, check out the second to last picture on a recent post I posted up on Modulardepot.com. The front rim is a 17x9 with a 275/40/17F BFGoodwrench G-force. I have 18's in the back in case you were wondering. I hope this helps a little?

thanx guys. i was j/w if it would rub out front but i guess not. im prolly gettin the black bullitts 17x9 and lowering springs all at once. just tryin to find a good tire. i shouldnt have to do an alignment cuz of the springs right??

WaterDR 10-03-2005 05:31 PM

Springs int he back = no alignment

Springt in the front = alignment

Mikes04stang 10-03-2005 05:37 PM

dammit. im doin all the way around lowering springs. any suggestions on good ride quality and stance??? plus a descent lasting tire?? i was told bf goodrich's are pretty good.

Man, that is a whole can of worms. You will get a million opinions on that question. Some guys like C springs, some like Steeda's. The new kid on the block seems to be H&R. If I were you I would research springs. They are all different. You have firm, soft, linear, progressive, big drops, not so big drops .... You should also change your struts and shocks when doing springs too especially if you have miles on the car. Otherwise, they will just go bad and the ride will be horrible.

You can spend as much as $1500 or as little as about $400 and get everything you need.

I myself am putting Bullitt Springs, Tokico struts and shocks, UPR control arms, and FRPP sway bars. I got everything for $480. Everything is going on tomorrow.

Mikes04stang 10-03-2005 06:36 PM

my cars only got 11000 miles. so yea, shock and struts should be fine. but right now im lookin at wheels and tires will prolly be bout 1300. i was just thinkin springs to lower it and give it the better stance. just lookin for some opinions on other's experiences.

Lances03SVT 10-03-2005 07:18 PM

I just changed my springs but I only had around 3000 miles on it when I did it.My tire and wheels were $1500.
