Haven't really posted anything in awhile. Finally added some wheels and other goodies to the wrx. Car has turboback exhaust, intake, tune, upgraded front/rear swaybars and endlinks. Looking at upgrading the turbo soon and possibly getting tuned for E85.
New wheels and before lowering springs. Attachment 13534 After springs and alignment. Attachment 13535 Attachment 13536 Attachment 13537 |

Looks like the same wheels I had on my Speed 3. I had Rota G-Forces with 235/40 tires, little rubber band tires stretched on the 8.5" wide rim, haha.

What kind of tires are you running?
I used Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star specs and those fit perfect and then I moved onto a Hankook Ventus V12 and those had a little stretch and they were the same size. I had to roll my fenders and I was at stock ride height, lol. I could only run a +48 offset with the 8.5" rim, sad. |

I had the same issue. There were days I would have lots of spagehtti strings hanging off the edge of my tires. I also got a couple of pull spots on my rear fenders until I had them rolled. I think I paid 80 bucks for a body shop to do it.
The mazda's just didnt have any room to run a more aggressive offset. Didnt really get the concaved look I wanted but it was there a little. |

I would of been ecstatic if Rota made a 8" wide rim with +42 offset that would of looked sick but not enough people are applications exist for that kind of combo.
I miss the subaru. I'm going to try to get back into one once I find me a job! First I have to start looking for a job. I'm about 6 months out from actually being able to look for internships. |
Love those rims!

The tires look too skinny for the rims they are mounted on.
