My turbo build
3 Attachment(s)
Well this isn't going to be the fastest build by any means. It will probably take around a year for me to complete the kit have it installed and get it tuned. I figured I'd start a build thread to show any updates and ask questions rather than starting a bunch of new threads.
I am starting with a Grand National turbo (Garrett TB0348) and hot side piping that I picked up from a fellow V6er. I am hoping to get around 325 RWHP on the small GN turbo and later I would like to upgrade to a Precision billet turbo and shoot for 500 RWHP. Here is what I have so far. Thats a great start...Keep saving and you'll get it there.

Thanks. I'm just excited to finally have some direction with this build. I have considered several different engine swaps and power adders. I shouldn't have a hard time hitting my goals with this setup and it will be unique in my local circles by being a quick 6.

Yeah, man dont get hung up on the online badasses...what you see online isnt what you see everyday in 'real' life.

Thanks guys.
It isn't directly related to the turbo build but I test my coil the other day and the resistance was quite high. I still need to ohm out the plug wires to see if they need to be replaced as well. Attachment 13630 |

Another small update. I got a deal I couldn't pass on so I got a set of low mile 39# injectors and 90mm MAF.

I finally installed my Tokico D-specs tonight. The ride is soooo much better. It's a night and day difference between them and the blown stock shocks and struts.

You will definitely enjoy it, just take your time, get the car setup for it, and then do work.
