Default Ideas

Run out of things to do to my bus. Must be the age old stumbling block I`ve come upon.

What next? Anyone with an idea? I have my bus pretty much they way I wanted it. So what now?

I thought about billet stuff but I`m worried you can do `too much`.

Stumped.

Paint the mirrors! Or find cobra ones.

You could also check out the rear trunk blackout.

You got that "Puss-mobile" lookin' good! The chin spoiler made a world of difference to the car.

The outside looks good but I think you hit it on the head "interior billet pieces". Just a couple to take the "bland" away.
1. cup holder bezels
2. headlight **** and heater control *****
3. shifter ****
4. pedal covers
5. that is all

One other thought, maybe some pillar pod gauges?

As above. I like the spoiler though.

Thought about it but ones I`ve seen in a dark interior didny float my boat bubba. I don`t know if black , white and silver go. The white Cobra style gauge faces really changed the interior but I don`t know about billet *****. I`ll have a look on the net.

Its a bus here. Thats a cool thing here if somebody says "Thats some ****** bus you have there".

But for the sake of transatlantic relations I`ll call it something else. Anyway, Blower? Love one but I`ve already enquired about an install and its give or take a bit about $10,000.

**** that. I can get gas for $2500. But nowhere to refill it locally. So I`m kinda snookered there. I love my car its rare as rocking horse **** here and nearly everything I`ve bought for it has to come from the US. I reckon I`ve got the best SN95 in the country. No ****. Then again theres probably only about 10, lol.

Yeah Brian, see those things just add a little to the inside of the car. Krazy pony did a hellava job on his mirrors, they look really really good. Sometimes just some little changes make a world of difference (I just never knew when to ouit)

Oh yeah, I'm running a 100 shot NX plate kit and all the switches are in the cup holder and all the other stuff is in the console

Bubba have any underhood pictuers? Been tossing around the idea of an NX plate system myself and damn is your install clean from what I can see. Feel free to PM me; I don't mean to stray away from the OT.

To the OP, I like it pretty much the way it is. I plan on adding hood struts and some bumper inserts shortly. Tint maybe? 38/25 looks killer on DSG, maybe just a tad darker. I wouldn't change much though. Maybe some accents? Custom powdercoating under the hood?
