looks like 13.05 was the fastest for the day. True street is a rough class. Looks like fun.

Thanks bud. Finished 3rd in the 13.x class for true street on Saturday with a 13.176 average. Also made a couple of rounds in B3 brackets on Sunday.

Actually 12.98 on Saturday and 12.900 on Sunday. Still running the "80" shot.

Going to be disconnecting the sway bar next time and am probably going to swap to fox springs in the rear. These MM springs just don't transfer weight for ****, the pics prove that.

Why only 80 shot? Go with 125.

Your rear has to be the nicest i've ever seen on a mustang. Its very well put together. No Homo.

The dynotune kit is rated at the flywheel so their 100 hit is actually closer to 80.. We were also being conservative because of the trans. Just got it all put back together on the Tuesday before NMRA.

Just ordered some true 100 & 125 whp jets today, but I think we're going to run on the 80 for a while and get all I can out of it then bump it up to 100 or 125.. Most likely going to be upgrading the rear end this winter to 31 spline stuff, may even bump it up to a 4.10, still undecided on that part though.

Damn, thanks for the compliment man! I'm loving how it's coming together, Actually got a ton of compliments on it this weekend @ NMRA and that felt damn good.

you car looks like its transferring fine...just that big *** sway bar keeping it from really transferring that energy to the rear wheels. You dont want rear end squat and your car already looks like it squats a tiny bit. You'll figure it out through your own trial and error. Best thing to do is big and littles and your times will literally drop half second.

Sway bar is definitely going to be disconnected next time out.. I plan on doing skinnies as soon as I can find a good deal on a decent set. For now I'm happy with my NTO5r's and the FR's are light as hell so I'm probably going to stick with those for a while.

The car isn't squatting much at all, maybe 1/2" - 3/4" at the most.. Still not 100% sure on the plan there.. Looking at doing fox springs ATM.

Working on my winter list right now and so far: 31 spline diff/axles, maybe 4.10's, possibly going to do an aluminum driveshaft, SLP Line-lock and probably going to go ahead and try to upgrade the fuel pump.

Just show up and be NHRA compliant. True Street is heads up run what you brung (thats what makes it a beast) Since you have a aftermarket power adder you will need a single layer fire jacket and helmet. I suggest at a minimum running a VERY sticky drag radial, none of that Nitto 555 DR's, way better out there for the money now. If you have slicks and bolt them on make sure you have a drive shaft safety loop installed.

It would be sweet if they broke the TS group up by tire choice but I doubt that will happen for a NMRA event. I rather run a club track rental day over an event like that. Good luck to anyone that races.

It doesn't look like the track was prepped too well either?

The right lane was pretty good, but the left was less than stellar. They had at least one car smack the wall in the left and several get way out of shape/ loop it around..

Video here: Skip ahead to about 1:05.

Hey Evan, are you leaving on the bottle or is it coming in a little later and what tire are you runnin' on the back for the strip? Car looks good making a pass (nice and straight) and sounds like the old driver was doin pretty good on the gears.

I believe I would unhook the sway bar and see what it feels like (you might **** your pants) but it would look good while doing it

Bottle is set @ 3200 RPM activation/ 5700 RPM deactivation at the moment. We are going to work that gradually. This was the first true test of the giggle juice, the first time out was when the 3/4 fork broke, so I'm still getting a feel for everything before we really unleash all of it's potential.

Just went from Hoosier DR's to the new Nitto NTO5R's. 245/45/17's @ about 15PSI.

Sway bar will definitely be getting disconnected next time out. Ordered a set of 4cyl fox rear springs today too $25 FTW!

Thanks for the compliment on the gears. I'm working on regaining my confidence all over again.. After breaking the shift fork a couple of weeks ago I feel like I was driving it like a granny for the most part this weekend just being very deliberate and engaging the clutch 100%.

And here are a couple more pics.

I was surprised, but I actually ended up beating the Brenspeed '10 GT heads up. He was on DR's & skinnies too. He ran a 13.157 to my 12.900.

This one makes me particularly happy... I almost always get fucked by the bastard that comes in and runs the slow *** car or truck in brackets. I always either can't catch them or break out doing it and this time I KO'ed the spoiler! Bracket racing drives me nuts and it felt good to finally get rid of one of these bastards!

Very nice, I can't wait to start racing and now I really want a cam, I love the way it sounds.
What's a bracket racing?
What's that sound at 1:21?
What was the newer mustang at 2:25 doing?

Not sure where you hear a cam? I guess maybe one of the other cars?

I'm assuming you're talking about the "pshh, pshh sound", that is my nitrous purge.

No idea on the 2:25, can't egt the damn video to load for me right now. F*n you tube.
