2011 GT500
Lighter and faster...
http://www.autoblog.com/2010/02/08/2...e-loses-120-p/ Highlights.... Ford finally using technology that they won an engineering award on. Also fun note is that they let Nissan use the technology as well. Aluminum block, saves 100 plus lbs. Better tires and suspension 550 hp!! :skid: better gas mileage and removes gas guzzler tax electric power steerting glass roof option Get's skinny stripes.. don't know if I like them or not. http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....0live---13.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....0live---01.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....0live---03.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....11gt500017.jpg Check out the link for more pictures and details |

I would cum all over that and have zigs mom clean and buff it
|
^^ +1

Well damn....this disappoints me kind of. I was hoping Ford was going to trash the 5.4 and use the 5.0 in the GT500 as well....mainly so it'd become cheap, and then I could buy one for a swap. :D
Good to see Ford engineers are finally getting off their asses all the way around. Don't like the small stripes though. Definitely would switch that out for a KR single fat stripe. |
love the motor and hate the color and the stripes. they look too small for the car.
|
Thats one bad ass car
|
anyone see the specs for the GT 350 its in one of my car magazines and it will use the 5.0 it looks BA
|
Man that's an awesome look!
|
The stripes are doodie. Otherwise, badass
|
i touched myself to this picture....
twice |
All good, except the stripes. skinny, boy racer, euro stripes gotta go, don't belong an what shall become an American legend. Ford may as well have put them on offset and called it a "Euro" version.
As for the Al 5.4L, pure sex. I have a feeling it will be used for some time in the GT500, as it is a re-design. However, the engineering program that developed the new 5.0 also was involved in 1 or 2 bigger motors. One of those is now available in the "Raptor" F150. Wonder if it'll fit in a 'stang? |

Yeah I did see the tag. I think that thing looks so awesome though. Also a TT GT500 would be sick!

Damn, I am loving that glass roof. I don't like the stripes. They look wimpy.
