'Painting' in Photoshop
This is something new I'm trying. I sketched an ODST dude from Halo so my ghey sketchbook for my ghey art class has some content, and decided to take a pic of it and color it in photoshop. Let me know what you think. It's pretty fun, since I suck at actual painting.

Thanks evan. Pretty much done with shading the guy. Now to do background, then coloring.
Coloring it is going to be a bitch since I'm colorblind..lol. I'll probably have a B&W version then colored.

Pee,
ive been posting on another forum called www.retouchpro.com
those guys there are pretty awesome, and they seem to spend a LOT of time painting in photoshop.
it is looking pretty good, but if you have any problems and need some guidance check them out.

Thanks man, and nope..did the sketch with a mechanical pencil, took a photo with my camera. Then did the whole thing with a mouse in photoshop, used a drop shadow brush, variable opacities and flow amounts. 21 layers.

it's cheap and it KICKS ***, it makes photoshop SOOOO much easier especially if you have good eye-pencil coordination which you clearly do.
i wouldnt imagine working photoshop without one.

A lot of shades...like, I can't tell the difference between a bright green or yellow, some orange to green, dark green/brown, purple/blue, etc. Like I don't know if the sky in the picture is yellow or green. lol

Everything on the Abram looks good except the barrel. I would erase that and try again. It looks short and is definitely out of line and bent at the big section in the barrel. But like I said, looks amazing other than that...
