My beerpong setup! - table design ideas?
its a work in progress..but this all started with me and two buds sitting at chipotle. it went kind of like
"dude, we need to set up a beer pong table in your basement"
"i'm game. where can we get a table?"
"I dunno lets check behind chipotle, maybe we'll find a door."
"yeah, like there's gonna be a door just sitting by the chipotle dumpsters."
so we go behind chipotle, LOW and BEHOLD, lies an industrial grade egg white metal door. just leaning. against a dumpster.
the dull fluorescent beams of light reflecting off of the door were met only by the blank stares of three college students. for 2 minutes.
finally my buddy looks at me and says:
" 'yeah, like there's gonna be a door behind chipotle.' ... ****** jackass."
so we load the door into my truck and the rest is history. we set it up in my unfinished basement. which at this point is pretty much a gigantic storage closet.
I host a couple of parties and the trashy lookin basement just isn't cutting it.
we got some bargains on some old furniture at goodwill, including a sick wood/glass coffee table! some rearranging and some cleaning up got us further than we thought. (I wish I took some before pics, the basement was crap).
anyways, here's the setup. it's not the most 'ballin', but it brings the girls, so **** it.
black lights!
The table is just plain boring white (more of an off white, it doesn't really glow under the black light). I have an artistic buddy who wants to paint something on, we just don't know what.
so far we have; Paint the table with some 'artistic design' and in blacklight only paint official beer pong lines. OR what I'm kind of leaning toward is painting official beer pong lines, and some bad *** artistic **** that only shows in black light.
throw me some ideas/feedback!

heres a few pics of my set up. The table is oak, its not painted. I made a template in photoshop and had a vinyl made of it (the same wraps that you see on cars) threw it on the table and poured a liquid bar top over it. Mounted a few black lights, threw some bottles on it. I also mounted an red underbody kit underneath it that pulsates to the bass from the stereo.

the half naked girl is a marissa miller fathead. the vinyl cost me $100 but that was with me making the template. The liquid bar top was around $50 or 60 i think. And the wood and other materials was prob around $100.

Tell me about it. This dude goes overboard and hardcore on EVERYTHING.
This guy has Potato gun that closely resembles an anti-aircraft gun and a remote trigger so he wont get killed if it blows up. he powers it with calcium carbide. lol.

This isn't nearly as cool as making your own, but one of my friends just got one of these....the cool thing is it's portable.
