Here you go just in case you are into the bottom end.
How much power are you thinking youll be able to hold before something goes? Its all looking great so far.
The shop knows that 600 is my lucky number so that is what the goal is.
i dont normally care for that body style but that car is bad ass
yes venom is doing it up. i'm working on motor right now but in the future(far far away) i'm gonna do the body
looking nice and good luck keeping up. :headbang: :icon_thum
is that all motor or with s/c
If it is with s/c you should be able to make that easy and more I will be in the 600 with my 2001 gt 2v I have a novi2000 coming and then i will be forging my internals, getting 60# injectors, port and polish my heads, kb boost pump and will be in the 600 range easy. Steen racing has a car that is 2v with novi setup, doing almost 900hp doing 9's in the 1/4mile so with a cobra block and heads, you are set to go |

Stevoneo,Im hoping it will do around 350 NA. Since the compression has been lowered from stock and will have stock cams until the SC cant expect much. This will be a street car with some track but the closest track is about 2hrs away so primarily street. Keeping that in mind I dont think anything more that 600 would be streetable as a matter of fact I think 450 at the wheels is a great street car. Some new cars are coming in with some big HP#'s like the Shelby,BMW Mseries etc so I needs to represent and 450 will not cut it. |
Yeah its all in the eyes of the owner.
I personally am going to make mine 600-700hp However it will still be a street car. Tell you what, once you get the mod bug it only gets worse as time goes on. I have spent more time about thinking what I can do to my car and research for it and install, then I do having relations with my hunnies. |
I know what you mean how much do you think we can run on 93octane.
I would need to know what mods you will have and will your heads be port and polish, etc...
As far as mine goes, Novi2000 3core intercooler 60# injectors Cobra tank Cobra pumps KB boost pump JBA shorties O/R x pipe super 40 flowmasters 75mm Accufab TB Accufab Plenum Blower Cams Port polish heads Forged rods pistons Differ crank 8 rib system Tune *I might be missing a part or two/And thats not suspension* 635hp |
That would be street tune normal psi 12-15psi
Track, Tune, Crank the PSI 780-840hp |
Looking sweet man. Why not just have the cams installed now. Yes, theyll be blower cams, but youll still make power. Just seems easier to do it now than to wait...
That is true, however he needs to get springs as well. Most shops wont charge extra if the heads are already off.
Your car looks sick from the rear man, sooooo nice, I like it!!
Thanks I had other pics up a few weeks ago but going to post more pics of engine swap and suspension.
its the paint and stripes that make your car so nice...it just looks so clean

it's the strips and being black just looks good. how much where those stripes? would look nice on the cobra.....actually nevermind i need exhaust (header-2-tips) but love the project
It was $32, springstang tried to put his on but was unsuccessful. I didnt see it being hard but it does require some time. I did it in two days 4hours each since I formed it around everything, you really cant tell that its vinyl. You cant rush it or else youll make mistakes and have dirt or air bubbles in the stripe. The only problem I see if you have SS or vinyl letters in the bumper, I removed my letters.
