nice!!! im going to go get some HDR pics of my car this week end and ill post them up.

What software did you use, I have been playing with photomatix some, and my mom that does photography of cars told me about one called DxO which does it too.

Really love that first one!

Pics look great, but you need to get that cobra chin on!

For all the merging and tone mapping, I use Photomatix. It's a really easy program to use. For any other editing, I'll use Photoshop CS3.

Creating HDRs is fairly simple. Take a camera, use a tripod and take anywhere from 3-7 pictures of the same exact thing, but adjust the exposure (ev settings) to get a range of pictures from dark to light. You put it into a program and it merges all the images together and brings out all the various colors, highlights, shadows, etc. Then you tweak settings and viola!

Yeah I know, I haven't gotten around to ordering from Ford yet.

yeah the car was dirty. the damn sprinklers at my friends house had just sprayed one side of the car before wewent out to take the pics.
