I like the black ones better than the chrome but I like smoked the most out of all of them on a black car.

40thblckgt 06-29-2005 01:46 PM

Yeah well I ordered the black projectors with a blue film over the projector eye. They should look amazing.

What % tint is that? it looks good. is that 20%?

40thblckgt 07-04-2005 09:35 PM

its 35% tint all around. If you're interested in getting your windows tinted, make sure you go to a place that knows what they're doing. The reason I say that is because the dot matrix on the rear window can bubble if not properly tinted. Thanks!

Yep, they have to use extra glue, and that looks darker than 35%.

40thblckgt 07-04-2005 09:49 PM

Might be the angle, when the sun hits right on it, you can definately see inside. But when its darker and especially when its dark out its really hard to see inside. Its dark enough to where people can't see who it is inside really but not to the point where a cop will pull you over. Later.

looks very sweet!! how are the projectors (lighting wise) compared to stock

40thblckgt 07-05-2005 07:11 AM

Well lighting wise they are amazing. They really do what projectors are supposed to do, they project forward instead of so much light sideways. And for the high beams, man, my sister has a 330 ci BMW with HID's and to be honest with you the high beams on that arent as strong as the projectors I just got! Definatly worth the money. I was a little worried though because I despise the people who rice out their mustangs, so I wanted to make sure it still looked good.

Badfish 07-05-2005 12:26 PM

Awsome...you should take some night pics

40thblckgt 07-05-2005 12:36 PM

Yeah I'm definately going to. I know you like the night shots spring stang

Jack The Ripper 07-05-2005 12:41 PM

I've been looking at a set of those, wasnt sure how it would look. Tell ya what, it is different, yet still subtle.
Messing with headlights/taillights are an easy way to the dark side of rice. those dont look very ricy at all in my opinion though
