Default Tail light tint Q

Alright, I want to put some tail light tint on the car, but there's a small problem (mainly with my dad's concern of me getting rear ended..), could anyone post up some pics of blacked out tail lights with their brakes and lights on in daytime, and at night. The same for 50% smoked tint would help as well..I'm trying to show him that the brakes and lights are clearly visible through the tint in night and day (plus the 3rd brake light will be left un-tinted).

So if anyone can help out with that I'd appreciate it..the daytime pics are what I'm looking for mostly, especially ones in sunlight.

And here's a chop I did of the last things I need to finish off the black/white look, window tint, trunk vinyl (it will be gloss) and TT tint. What would y'all think of that look?

I will try to get some pictures for you tommorow if my GF doesn't go into work, but with my 50% tint you can clearly see the lights in daytime. I was rearended once in the v6 while I had tint, but that guy was a tailgaiting ******* and I know he saw my tailights.

nice dude. Yeah the next stang I get is going to be much simpler and more streamline as you put it, with alot more put into the performance side of things.

Girlfriend went to work, so no pictures. She picked up another girls shift at the Hooters. I think the ones from Mixedbreed give a pretty close representation of what mine look like also.

I agree with the 1st choice. I had the 2nd for awhile but took off the valence blackout and it looks alot better now. Love the drop too!

This is an older pic with the lamps turned on. No brakes applied. This was daytime in a parking garage so maybe it will give you a good idea. Oh and don't worry..the 5 times I was rearended had nothing to do with my tails

When I tinted mine, I did one first then the other. With the brakes applied, there was no difference that I could tell. If you want, you could always get brighter bulbs.

One thing that I know is becoming very popular, are LED bulbs. Check V-leds.com. They really help with brightness, etc. However, they can get expensive.
