I'd rock it.

Codiddy 01-12-2008 03:14 PM

I like the subdued look. It looks a lot like the original. Would make one hell of a sleeper.

WNRacing 01-12-2008 03:20 PM

I took these pictures today, and to be honest was completely disappointed with it.. Maybe the pictures don't do it justice for just how boring and crappy it really looks. My suggestion.. If you want a Bullitt, go buy a basic V6 and put a S/C on it...

PColav6 01-12-2008 03:51 PM

I really like those wheels.

yup.

todd03blown 01-12-2008 06:16 PM

its supposed to be modeled after the original right? That means this one is successful then.

+1

I think it's awesome, it's not supposed to be flashy or have any kind of extreme styling to it. It's a very good replication of the original, all it needs is to be lowered a bit.

rebelyell 01-13-2008 12:04 AM

MSRP 31 grand.. I would want more than 315 HP personally but, I like it. Actually I would like 315 HP on my 04 GT better... :o

stanger00 01-13-2008 12:09 AM

to the OP you miss the whole idea of the original bullitt. the original bullitt is plane jane just like the one that is pictured above.

rebelyell 01-13-2008 12:16 AM

Also available in black. And has 373 gears.. Lots of other goodies too. Not gonna make many of them is one thing. But isn't that what they did with the last bullitt?? Is it worth more because of limited production? I still like the way it looks though.. Steve McQueen Green. :D

7000 being sold in america, 700 in canada. 7700 total is a pretty limited production run

Just another gimmick for F**D to make more money.. Just like the Shelby GT.. I can hear the meeting now.. "Let's take a V6 Chassis, throw a V8 in it, paint it green and call it a Bullitt!" Then we can stick a $30,000+ base price on it and our dealers can mark it up another $4-5,000 !! "Genius!"

Sorry, it does nothing for me.. Sure, it's a 'throwback' to the original Bullitt, whatever.. Still looks like a debadged V6 with a V8 under the hood.. Woo! :poke:

This bullitt was built for fans of the movie and no one else so if you liked the movie you will probably like the car if you didn't like or have never seen the movie then this car will probably look lame to you. All I know is if I saw one of these cruising around san francisco I'd be looking for a black charger

Ok, so they had to put gears in it... Otherwise it's not gonna move.. Im sure that putting 3.73's in it really cost them an extra arm. And they "Tuned the suspension" LOL looks just as much as a 4x4 as all of the other GT's with the exception of the wheels.. "Special intake!" Wow! it adds an extra 15hp! That's where it cost F**D their leg right? As far as the exhaust goes, Im sure that will be the first thing to go as soon as someone buys it, just like every other m*stang.

Im sorry, defend it all you want, that's your right... But it's still gonna be an over priced GIMMICK from F**D.. Im just as much of a M*stang fan as the rest of you, but if any of you would seriously pay $36-40,000 for a debadged V6 with a V8 then you are nuts and should send some of that extra money my way..

zigzagg321 01-13-2008 12:22 PM

The Bullitt fits my favorite style...NO show, some go. If my rear Ford emblem didnt have hole behind it and the damn side badges didnt either, well, I'd have zero badges on mine. This is all just a personal taste issue. some like the Bullitt, some dont. Of the Ford "gimmick" cars...the Bullitt is the least "gimmiky" of them all.

I was kind of guessing that, but sometimes e-sarcasm is difficult to spot! :p
